Larry

Larry is the talking parrot who travels with the mysterious merchant Pokus.

• 28 Arodus 4710 Larry perched beside Pokus’s colorful chest when the party met the merchant between the Kamelands and the Tuskwater. Djacques watched Larry and Noor size each other up. Then Larry flew over and landed on Kairos’s shoulder, and Pokus cheerfully announced that Larry could sell many fine wares.

  Pokus said Larry had travelled for “eon…” before correcting himself to “decades”. When Pokus left, Larry faded away along with him and the chest.

Notes

• The slip about “eons” is one of the clues that Pokus is far older than he looks, and Larry may be too.
• The party’s animals were afraid of Pokus, but Larry was happy to perch on Kairos.
