Oleg’s Trading Post
Oleg’s Trading Post is a small settlement south of Brevoy and North of the Greenbelt. For many travellers, it has been the last stop and one of the few hospitable shelters between civilization and the endless wilds that laid beyond it. It is run by Oleg and Svetlana Leveton, a couple from Restov, who have rebuilt an old fort into a trading post.
The trading post is an old abandoned border fort at the southern edge of Rostland that was taken over by trolls. When the trolls disappeared, Oleg moved in and took over the building with the help of a contingent of soldiers who assisted in rebuilding. The soldiers, however, were called back to Brevoy in the month of Lamashan. A relief contingent was supposed to arrive by the month of Kuthona, but an early winter kept them sheltered in Restov.

28 Calistril 4710 The Trading Post was the first destination on the party’s Expedition for the Stolen Lands. Lady Jamandi Aldori told the party that the trading post had been recently harassed by bandits, and that the party should function as an early relief effort.
Oleg and Svetlana explained that Stag Lord’s Bandits harassed the post at the earliest hour of dawn, at the beginning of every month. The bandits argued that they were mere “collecting tax”.

1 Pharast 4710 The party set up traps to fend off the Stag Lord’s Banditsduring the Bandit attack on Oleg’s Trading Post. The plan was successful, and three of the attackers died. A fourth attacker, Happs Bydon, was captured by the party and interrogated.

3 Pharast 4710 The party returned to Oleg’s Trading Post after retrieving Moon Radishes for Svetlana and capturing Kressle, the bandit lieutenant. The delivery of the radishes earned them 15 gold. Lizzy surprised the group by gifting riding horses, including a raven named Noor for Djames.

10 Pharast 4710 After a period of exploration, the party returned to Oleg’s Trading Post. They resupplied and finalized preparations for further expeditions, including obtaining a disguise kit to infiltrate the Stag Lord’s fort.

14 Pharast 4710 The party returned to Oleg’s Trading Post after exploring the Temple of the Elk and dealing with Davik Nettle at Nettle’s Crossing. They met Jhod Kavken, a druid seeking the temple’s purification. Supplies were restocked, and plans for future expeditions were outlined.

17 Pharast 4710 The group spent the morning at Oleg’s preparing for the assault on the Stag Lord’s fort. Lizzy sewed a flag for the group, while Djames and Kairos worked on disguise preparations.

26 Pharast 4710 After defeating the Stag Lord and exploring his fort, the party returned to Oleg’s Trading Post. Oleg mentioned seeing a fire on Candlekeep Island and shared his limited knowledge of the Outer Gods. Discussions about the Brightmarch Festival began here, with the party coordinating invitations and logistics.
