Flaming Bastard Sword
A +1 striking cold iron flaming bastard sword, taken from the tomb of the Lonely Warrior and now carried by Leonardo.
The sword was the “magic flaming weapon” promised by the map the party found in the Hateful Hermit’s den (see the Hermit’s Locket). The legends around the Lonely Barrow spoke of a barbarian warrior king buried in the Kamelands for thousands of years, guarded by warriors sworn to defend him even in death.

29 Arodus 4710 In the barrow’s eastern chamber, surrounded by weapons and armor left as offerings or trophies, the stone sarcophagus burst open and the Lonely Warrior rose. Once he and his skeletal guardians were destroyed, the party found the true prize inside the sarcophagus: a magnificent bastard sword, broken into two shards but clearly magical. They agreed it was perfect for Leonardo once it could be repaired.

30 Arodus 4710 Floris, a travelling merchant with a private workshop, reforged the sword for 2 platinum pieces. For another 5 gold, he transferred Leonardo’s Striking rune onto the blade.
Notes
- Cold iron and fire make it a good answer to both fey and trolls. Hargulka’s trolls can’t regenerate through fire damage.
