Munguk

Munguk is a hill giant the party met on the Candlemere coast. He tried to join Hargulka’s army and was turned away. He ended up a friendly, if weepy, ally.

• 1 Rova 4710 Djacques found Munguk sitting on a tree trunk, crying and trying to drink from a bottle that had long been empty. Hargulka had been mean to him. Djacques said the party had trouble with Hargulka too, and offered him a bottle of vintage wine. Munguk drained it in one sip. After a second bottle he wrapped Djacques in a bear hug, crying all over him.

  Munguk had found a forgotten, half-collapsed keep and tried to join Hargulka’s army there. Hargulka refused him and wouldn’t even see him. Munguk told the party where he’d last run into Hargulka, and about a lizardfolk village in the area (the iruxi village). He gave them a map of the Stolen Lands.

  Kairos brought him water she’d flavored to taste like Blue Wolfberry wine, and got a hug too. Munguk then helped build the party’s raft, dragging tree trunks together with his bare hands. The party invited him to camp with them for the night. See Candlemere-Expedition.
