Hunting Spiders
Hunting Spiders are massive, tree-dwelling arachnids that stalk their prey in the dense forests of the Greenbelt. Known for their agility and ability to ambush from the canopy, they are a constant threat to travelers and adventurers. Their venom weakens prey, allowing them to secure a meal with minimal effort.
These spiders have long, spindly legs and venomous fangs capable of piercing most armor. Their mottled coloration provides effective camouflage among the foliage, making them formidable ambush predators. Their silk is strong enough to create durable webs that can entangle larger creatures, including humanoids.
- 11 Pharast 4710 We first encountered two Hunting Spiders while crossing a forest near the Moon Radish Patch during our exploration of the Greenbelt. The spiders dropped from the canopy, using their webs and sharp fangs to ensnare and harm their prey.
