House Lebeda
House Lebeda is a noble family of the Avistani nation of Brevoy. Its central holdings are located southwest of Lake Reykal in Rostland, controlling the plains and significant portions of the lake’s shipping. They are considered to be the Brevic noble family that epitomizes Rostland, having significant Taldan blood, an appreciation for fine things, and a love of sword fighting. House Lebeda is also known for its wealth, influence, and connection to trade.
House Lebeda maintains a delicate balance of loyalties between the traditionally feuding Issian and Rostlandic factions of Brevoy. This makes them an influential player in Brevic politics, often seeking to bridge divides and mediate disputes, while ensuring their interests remain protected.
House Lebeda’s seat is Silverhall, located near the southern shore of Lake Reykal. The region is a hub of economic activity, serving as a gateway for trade routes that connect Brevoy with neighboring lands. The proximity to the lake provides strategic advantages in commerce and defense, making Silverhall a symbol of the house’s prosperity.
Its sigil is the graceful white swan, a symbol of elegance, resilience, and nobility, which reflects the house’s reputation for balancing tradition with adaptability.
The Labeda family motto is “Success Through Grace”
Lander Lebeda is the current house head. His son, Leonardo Lebeda, is the current heir.
- 24 Calistril 4710 During Lady Jamandi Aldori’s party, it was noted that the party was associated with the “Lebeda Expedition,” one of the groups commissioned to tame the Stolen Lands under the banner of House Lebeda. This formal connection set the stage for the party’s mission.
Djames sent a coded letter to Lander Lebeda, hinting at their clandestine connection through secret phrases. During our expedition to the Stolen Lands, Djames and Leonardo have kept up the ongoing ties between the party and House Lebeda.
