Fangberry Thicket
The Fangberry Thicket is a brambly, overgrown area in the Greenbelt where rare and valuable fangberries grow. The location is as dangerous as it is valuable, with thorns that bite as fiercely as any blade and hostile creatures lurking within the brambles.
Description
The thicket is densely packed with thorny brambles that make passage difficult and painful. The fangberries themselves grow deep within this natural fortress, protected by both the terrain and the creatures that make the thicket their home.

- Thorny Brambles - The thick brambles cause injury to anyone attempting to push through them

History with the Party

Session-12 (7 Gozran 4710) The party located the Fangberry Thicket based on directions from Bokken, the alchemist, who needed the berries for his brewing. The approach was complicated when Lizzy attempted to use Speak with Animals to recruit local wildlife for guidance, but a bird nearly defecated on her in response.
As Lizzy moved in to harvest the berries, a massive spider swarm erupted from within the brambles. The party engaged in battle:
- Kairos entered the thorns with Shield and Arcane Cascade
- Jacques and Weiß provided support with Courageous Anthem
- The swarm overwhelmed Kairos and Jacques, forcing Weiß to retreat
- Lizzy retaliated with Electric Arc
- Kairos used Dimensional Assault and Spellstrike to reposition and attack
- Jacques ordered Weiß to stomp the final remnants
After defeating the spiders, the party successfully harvested the fangberries and secured the area for future expeditions.
