Fangberries

Fangberries are a rare, thorn-covered fruit native to the Greenbelt and surrounding wilderness regions. Prized for their alchemical potency, the berries are notoriously difficult to harvest due to their sharp brambles and the aggressive wildlife often found nearby.

Fangberries grow in dense, tangled thickets, their branches bristling with hooked, fang-like thorns. The berries themselves are a deep crimson, each fruit about the size of a fingernail and slightly luminescent under moonlight. When crushed, they emit a bitter, astringent aroma, though their flavor when properly prepared is tart and earthy.
